A good choice for farmers, schools, researchers and municipalities who follow wind and humidity, irrigation needs and flood risk. The sensors send wirelessly to a colour touchscreen console up to 300 m away in open field.
What it measures
- Outdoor temperature (−40 to +65 °C) and humidity, in a passive radiation shield
- Wind speed and direction: the anemometer is tested to 320 km/h and can be mounted apart from the other sensors on its 12 m cable
- Rain, with a self-emptying collector in 0.2 mm steps that meets World Meteorological Organization guidelines
- Barometric pressure, indoor temperature and humidity, and the dew point, heat index and feels-like temperature
How it works
- The console updates every 2.5 seconds, keeps charts and records, and can hold up to 22 alarms. It receives up to 8 sensor units or transmitters within 300 m, so a soil moisture station or a second anemometer can be added later.
- A fan-aspirated radiation shield is available for more accurate temperature and humidity.
- The console runs on mains power (230 V) and uploads to Davis WeatherLink over Wi-Fi. The current readings are free there; history and reports need a WeatherLink subscription, paid by card directly to Davis (about 4 USD a month per station).
Good to know
- The mast is not included (a 32–44 mm pipe); a tripod and installation with training are available.
- 1-year warranty in Romania, manual in Romanian.
- From stock, or in about 15–20 working days.
